The Red String

 On Christmas eve I went to my cousin's house with my boys for the family get together. Now, I brought my Kazuchin to our Thanksgiving gathering and well, let's just say he wasn't well recieved. ((THEY THOUGHT HE LOOKED LIKE MY BROTHER....after thinking he was a girl...)) Then again, my extended family has never "gotten" my personality and my likes. *shrugs* So, with this thinking that they were going to call Rayne stupid, girly and what not, I was surprised that it wasn't that way~! Of course, they still thought my Kazuchin was a girl (much to our dismay), but they thought Rayne was pretty cool. *shocked* My older cousin (who's only older than me by like three years) was playing with him and helped me pose him. ((He wouldn't dare touch Kazuma. ^_^;;)) 


My other cousins were cool with Rayne hanging out with us as well. When we were playing Monopoly (because we had nothing better to do) I had Rayne hold my property cards. Instead of talking to me about the properties, they talked to Ray. It was pretty funny.
C: *takes cards out of Ray's hands* "Uh, we have Illinois ave...*
Oldest cousin: "He can speak for himself."

My aunt asked about his likes and what he did...I told her a quick summary since we were leaving, but my oldest cousin told her:
"I've been trying to talk to him all day." 

That day was pretty fun. <3 At least they like one of my boys.

Personality: Rayne is a very out-going, rambunctious boy. He likes trying new things and is always up for a challenge. He’s very caring and sweet. He’ll basically talk about anything, even if it’s just about the weather. However, when he goes into his quiet spells (when he is thinking about his brothers) it lasts for at least an hour. He doesn’t like people worrying about him, so if he’s upset about something he’ll keep it to himself. Rayne is very protective about the people he cares about.
Random facts:

-          He has an older twin brother, Clu.

-         When he was in kindergarten, he kissed a girl as a dare.

-         Rayne used to be a playboy like Clu.

-         He’s blind as a bat when he’s not wearing his glasses. He’s currently wearing contacts though.

-         He wears a star pendant that his mother gave him when he was younger. It was to help tell him apart from Clu (who wears a moon pendant.)

-         If you poke him in the butt, he starts laughing like crazy

Backstory:

 Rayne’s family was very dysfunctional. His dad was an alcoholic who used to beat his mother and yell at Rayne and his brothers. One night Rayne saw his drunken father kill his mother because she didn’t have dinner on the table ready for him. ((He had come home early and she wasn’t aware that he was going to do so)) Rayne’s father had seen the 16 year-old Rayne, who was watching from the hallway. He walked over to him, lifted his up by the collar of his shirt and told him that if he said one word about what he saw, he would do the same to him. Knowing that since his mother was gone, his father would need a new outlet for him to release his anger. Being the leader that Rayne is, he told his brothers that they needed to leave quickly. While their father was passed out on the living room's couch of their two-story house Clu, Rayne and Ayden tip-toed down the stairs and out the front door. Without much money, they ran to Clu’s “friend’s” house, hoping they could spend a few days there. ((The friend happened to be an older woman that Clu was seeing…amongst many other older women)) After a few days of freeloading, Rayne decided that he needed to earn some money in order for them to leave their hometown permanently. Telling Clu to take care of Ayden and that he would be back to get them, Rayne took what little money they had ((and a little money that was given to him by Clu’s “friend”)) and left for a new life.
